Meagan Platt
I have grown up around animals my whole life whether it's cats, dogs, chickens, reptiles, or whatever else I could encounter. My professional animal training experience started in 2015 when I attended the Exotic Animal Training and Management program at Moorpark College where I mentored under a staff of professional animal trainers. Since then, I've worked at a wildlife rescue where I trained anything from cats (house cats to mountain lions), foxes, ferrets, prairie dogs, raccoons, parrots, raptors, and more, acquired my falconry license, and became an accredited dog trainer through Petsmart.
To say that working with and training animals is my passion may be an understatement. I believe that training saves lives by allowing pet parents to communicate clearly with their animal companions and keeping pets in their homes. Clear communication is the key to any good relationship, right? Any animal can be trained whether its a cat, dog, bird, or reptile. With my experiences training wildlife as well as domestic animals, I feel that I bring a very unique perspective and problem solving to training your pets.
